WHO DIS: Simon Keyes, obvs played by XL. Like a Disney princess except also a sadistic chess master circus clown obsessed with self-preservation and bloody revenge.

EFFECTS: Memory loss for sure. Open to other effects if that's what the team wants.

BEST PAIRED WITH: Somebody either morally ambivalent or naive enough to not find him reprehensible. Someone more loyal than he is would probably not hurt.

THIS BE: Dio Krakatau, loosely Disgaea universe OC, played by XL. He's an ifrit rock star from a Netherworld that runs on the power of music.

EFFECTS: Something besides mem-loss? idk yet.

BEST PAIRED WITH: Absolutely anybody.

WHO: Kaladin from the Stormlight Archive, played by Mitsuru. Serious, tries 120% too hard mother-hen type.

EFFECTS: Tentatively memory loss, but I am pretty open to what folks want. (Are we doing effects on a per-team basis?)

BEST PAIRED WITH: Anyone who is not a terrible human being.

I AM: Jiora! Played Dera/Hako/Yayoi in Sabra, Ed over at MoM, Yayoi/Kaoru at Aather, etc.

THIS IS: Ezekiel Jones from The Librarians. He's a master thief, tech wiz, arrogant little brat (he IS great at what he does, but is insufferable about it.) He's a classic heart of gold type.

EFFECTS: Memory loss yes. I am also pretty open to other effects others on the team may want

BEST PAIRED WITH: At least one person with good or near-good morals. He really just needs someone he feels he can depend on to not be a total shitlord for no reason.

Who: Chouno Am, played by Tristan. A 14-year-old idol who moonlights as a midboss for the sake of saving her coma patient parents. Willing to get her hands bloody for her goals, unless that means her girlfriend gets involved too, then the deal is off.

Effects: uh I probably want skill gain for her since being competent is important to Am, C+P OTHER PEOPLE INTO HER CANON MAYBE?? U SMELL NICE BELLA EFFECT?? Unlikely to give her amnesia.

BEST PAIRED WITH: someone that won't leave her alone. Am is very much the DON'T GET INVOLVED WITH ME dumb boy trope who takes everything onto their own shoulders as they aggressively bad decision, except female. Best pairs with manic pixie dream girls that like her for no good reason, but anyone who is willing to keep bugging young bitter ambition blinded girl who intentionally throws up walls and tries to keep distant.

HEY SO IT'S COURTNEY and I'm considering two characters right now and haven't decided between them yet!!

The first is Mary here from Ib, who is nine years old and very exuberant and silly and she's incredibly lonely and wants friends really badly and she solves her problems by stabbing the absolute fuck out of them. What's a li'l murder between friends??? Never ever leave her. Also she's not human! She doesn't like adults so she's best paired with characters who'll act more childish if there aren't just younger characters, and in general people who will let her be clingy. I'm waffling on memloss for her? It'd depend on her team because remembering she's not human could go really really poorly l-lmao...... Maybe an empathy bond too or otherwise but only for someone who is prepared for how angry and murdery this child gets.

My other maybe is Lynne from Ghost Trick!! She's a young (early 20sish probably?) detective who is aggressively about JUSTICE and THE TRUTH but she's wicked friendly and ridiculously optimistic. "Haha! I died again!" is a thing that she actually says, you just can't keep her down. She's goofy but super determined. I'm almost definitely gonna give her memloss, maybe other things?? She's best paired with people who aren't horrible and will go along with her shenanigans, whether or not they have to be dragged.
