Life support is fully operational throughout the ship. Bridge crew, please proceed to the bridge to view the full damage report.

((Characters are free to explore the ship. I'll answer whatever questions are posed to the computer, but it doesn't get replies so poke me if I don't seem to notice. o/

You said I wouldn't like it, and that the girl was cargo. That says plenty.

But fine: what did happen?

So we didn't ask enough questions about what was in the box when we made the deal to bring it on board. This is our fault.

[NOW YOU'RE COMPLICIT IN THIS IMAGINARY CRIME I MADE UP, SO THERE.]

Why was she packed in a crate in the first place?

I don't know, but the rest of the crew didn't appreciate it.

Start from the beginning. I want the whole story.

[Gives you another one of those long, piercing looks.]

Why would a security officer and a counselor be picking up a crate of unidentified cargo from a burning town without finding out what was inside or notifying the rest of the crew?

Because the fire was the security officer's fault.

I don't want to talk about this anymore.

[He falters for just a second at the claim that it's his fault.]

If I am what you say I am, the safety of everyone on this ship is my responsibility. That includes that little girl.

[court_chesster]

I knew this was going to happen. The second I start saying things you don't like, you get all incredulous and bossy. You want to pretend like you're some kind of hero, but let me tell you, you're not. If you're so worried about the kid, why aren't you looking after her right now?

I'm trying to fix what's wrong with the ship. Repairing the damage to keep us all safe ought to be the priority right now. And since it is the priority... we'll finish this conversation later.

For right now, the voice says that we need to fill in the information missing from the computer, including crew designations. I'm having it call everyone to the bridge, so that we can provide that information as soon as possible.
