DREAM POST

Free-for-all dream post!
Make your own dream threads, hop into others'. Bounce characters off each other, try out effects, see what sticks. Anything you want to keep you can keep, anything that isn't working, it was ~all just a dream~.
ESSENTIALLY:
- The character does not remember their name
- Something else is missing/altered as well. Memories? Feelings? Abilities? It's up to you. o7

Right. Of course.

[And going to keep walking.]

...Great.

We'd better find someplace to take shelter.
[And that lights-out reception doesn't give me much hope for the hospitality of the locals.]

[eyes flitting around]
...Look for an apartment building with a lot of floors. We can hide in the stairwell.

[Scanning for a larger building, though - and trying the door when he spots it. Sure enough, locked.]
[That storm is coming on fast, too. Forget gathering clouds. The sky to the east has gone black as ink, and the approaching rain looks like a solid sheet.

[Digs through his pockets looking for a lockpick or something like it. He finds a gun.]
Hmm...

Step back.
[And he's going to try and brute force it. Just slamming into it with his shoulder, here.]

[He glances back over his shoulder to where the storm is howling in like a live thing, spraying its first rain onto the nearby roofs in a rush of sound.]
[Then he backs up a few steps and throws himself at it full on. The door shudders under the impact and finally slams in, and he goes staggering inside under the sudden give, skin seeming to smoke slightly.]

Hooraaay~!

Get in here, already.

[he doesn't need to be told twice, and he ushers the tiger and bunnies in after him before doing his best to shut the door behind them]

[The rain pounding on the roof sounds like someone up above the clouds is throwing down buckets full of nails, and the force of the wind actually shakes the building. There's a massive shattering of glass, and a tree branch as thick as a person's arm comes hurtling through the window.]
[The puppy still in the crook of his arm whimpers.]
Let's get out of the entryway.
no subject
...y-yeah. Maybe there's a basement we can hide in.
no subject
Right.
[Heading deeper into the building; he opens the first door he comes to and peers up the stairs, toward the roof.]
Not here.
no subject
[Glancing around and fidgeting nervously. That storm has him rattled.]
no subject
Come on, then.

[sssssssigh]
Ah well. At least we're inside now.
[Plops down against a wall.]

[Sinks down to sit on the bottom step, himself.]

[Curling up a little]
... Everything was fine until you showed up.
